After graduating from college and serving two years in the Army, Bob moved from the Midwest to Arlington in 1972. He graduated from the College of William and Mary's law school and began a career.
Bob worked for 15 years as counsel to two Congressional committees. In 1993, President
Clinton appointed him as Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs
at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served until early 1997. He currently
is a partner in an Arlington government relations firm.
Bob's been an Arlington civic activist for over two decades. He spearheaded successful School Bond campaigns in 1988 and 1996, and served on the Arlington County Board's Fiscal Affairs and Transportation advisory panels.
